This is one bad point when you do up your study room like what you wanted to be conducive for working - I ended up working even when I get back home from work. I was supposed to be checking air ticket for my upcoming holiday and before I know it, I was replying work emails and doing some editing on my report. In fact, I was supposed to watch a cartoon dvd after having dinner with bro.
I guess it really is in my bloodstream to work. I think workaholism and materialism comes hand in hand as one trait. If one is the former, it is inevitable that he or she is ,also, the latter. Hmm..I should google on this theory.

Anyway, like what I am telling Jon, I am startiung to be less materialistic. I bought myself another bottega wallet instead of an Hermes one. I save a whopping three hundred bucks! Ha Ha Ha.

Naturally, I do not find it agonising to work at home. I love my work and a job well done is as good as the libido quenched. Though it will affect my sleeping timing and ,eventually, my sleeping pattern.I need to think I can resolve this . I should set a curfew as to what time I get my butt off my study chair. Hmm..but did I just remember that I am getting myself a 20 inch iMac this weekend so as to facilitate working at home? Blimey. What a conflict of ideas.

I'd better get to shower. The purifying mask , that I applied 2 hrs back, on my face is literally cracking.

Leibovitz's Work : John Lennon & Yoko Ono , New York City, December 8, 1980
John Lennon & Yoko Ono
"I'm not a journalist. A journalist doesnt take sides, and I don't want to go thru life like that. I have a more powerful voice as a photographer if I express a point of view.I don't have two lives."

It was my virginal night at my new place last night. I think the curtains arent heavy enough. I could still hear the traffic at night.
I am not comfortable showing bedroom pics online so, thats my study room. Rosie is in the first one and my piggy bank aka Rosie Jnr , is on top of Mandela , Botero and Annie. Heh.

Today should be a pretty relaxing day. Finally.

You are The Devil

Materiality. Material Force. Material temptation; sometimes obsession

The Devil is often a great card for business success; hard work and ambition.

Perhaps the most misunderstood of all the major arcana, the Devil is not really "Satan" at all, but Pan the half-goat nature god and/or Dionysius. These are gods of pleasure and abandon, of wild behavior and unbridled desires. This is a card about ambitions; it is also synonymous with temptation and addiction. On the flip side, however, the card can be a warning to someone who is too restrained, someone who never allows themselves to get passionate or messy or wild - or ambitious. This, too, is a form of enslavement. As a person, the Devil can stand for a man of money or erotic power, aggressive, controlling, or just persuasive. This is not to say a bad man, but certainly a powerful man who is hard to resist. The important thing is to remember that any chain is freely worn. In most cases, you are enslaved only because you allow it.

The letter 'S' holds a very significant meaning in my life. More so than rather, I have been entwined with the letter 'S" for the longest time I can recall. Shopping , Spa , Sex and most importantly, Scorpios.

Scorpios = Babe , EH , Jon, Kian and many more.
They have all mystified and changed my life by a little , if not a great deal.

So Happy [or Post] Birthday to all of you and I love all of you with the best of all intentions.

Muacks.

A heavy downpour

I feel blessed today.
In spite of the heavy downpour, we trio make our way to get plants for my new place.
It was really swell as we have not spent time together for the longest time.
All the more do I feel appreciative as I am the only one who is an avid plant lover and both of them were simply sweet enough to accompany me.
It makes me giddy with joy as we mulled so merrily over the various potted plants and the beautiful orchids.

It is moments like this that makes me feel that quality time spent with your loved ones is , indeed , therapeutic.
It is with such folks around me that makes my life more complete.

I have been scouting for the best deal in town for the past weeks. Never have I scurry into a chain of heartland malls that took me from Jurong all the way to Tampines - All in a week, in between lunch break and after work.

But i am still procrastinating about that washing machine, damn it .
Front loading with temperature control...arghhhhh

9th of November

In life, we have always yearn for the sweetest things .
To share the finest things in life; it will never be complete without our realm of loved ones encircling us , in all due love and acceptance.
In this walk, we are prone to foster new friendships and rekindle old ties.
It is with this in mind - what makes our life a grandeur splendor.
It is one regret that stood by me - to have paced my life too fast that old friends find incredibly tedious to walk by.

Anyhow, its a joyous day for my old friend .

"Happy Birthday Sweetie! I wish you well everyday! "
