lake house

The Lake house

I watched The Lake House today.

If love is supposed to fill up our loneliness, romance keeps me alive. I love it, to bits. I think I can just watch it again and again and still shed tears over the exact scene and laugh over the same lame joke. The Lake House - a story of an impossible romance ,and an unforgiveable mistake of a father.

I watched with a company of six today. None of them appreciates it for the very illogicality outweighing any meaning to its love that they so longingly held on to. To a love that started without either knowing- In that very split second in time. It all do not make sense , in all sense , isnt it?

A father whose idiosyncrascies drove his beloved wife away , wouldnt attend her funeral but yet spoke of her , in all good. Human ego versus divine love. It leads to a lifetime of bitterness.

Most of the time , we tend to watch a movie with a certain logic that seems somehow unnecessary. We fail to see and hear what the director wants to show us in his art.

Love , in its purest form, doesnt have to make much sense. It comes right from the heart and brings a thousand sorrows.
