Such razzle dazzle?

“基础的爱是何等,
长阔高深。”

I saw this written on a mug in a client's office sometime back. It was in the back of my mind and , like a trace of light, flashed past me just now as I was driving back home.

Love. It has always been a capital 'L' in my life. But throughout these years of bumping from one relationship to another , have I truly understand the essense that it brings?

Indeed it takes only a few days for me to pick up what I like in a person. It takes me another one or two months to register the vices of my partner. Naturally, it will only take the same amount of time to be able to convince myself that I am able to accept my loved ones for all its good and bad.

But what remains as a test of love and faith always come much later in a relationship.

How many of us can literally attest his actions to his words of love? To stuck through the worst and the best. Perhaps some of us will not even experience the nip of such profound.

I met a good pal of mine over the weekend. Through him and his partner, I understand the chinese quote.

It may take a village to raise a child. It may take five, ten years or more to bring a love to its test; to accept a partner and everything of his . It takes a test to find out how beautiful a realization , that love is such bittersweet awe.

Love should start with a small cap 'l'. Cause a fanfare will alway razzle dazzle into nothing but dust. And thats not love. Thats all words and no action.
